This posting is for Spring/Summer 2016 Bachelors of Science in Nursing graduates who have identified the University of Maryland Medical Center as the hospital where they wish to begin their career. This posting is for general new graduate openings at UMMC and lists our current entry level openings available for you to apply to. Please review the frequently updated list of specific units below, each being an area we have identified as an excellent opportunity for a new graduate RN. The instructions that follow will let you know what information we need from in order to help pair you with a unit so that you can begin your career here.


Once you submit an application, you will receive an automated email to the email address you provided stating that your application was successfully received. You will also be able to check your application status by logging back into the UMMC Job Portal within 24 hours of submitting an application.


Application Instructions:
• Please list and rank your units of interest at the hospital. You may include up to five choices but providing at least three is helpful;
• If you are interested in a specific unit at UMMC, please describe why you would like an opportunity within this department to start your career;
• Please describe in specific why you want to work at UMMC.


Resume:
• On your resume, please list your senior practicum assignment;
• Please designate any UMMC units you have completed a clinical rotation on
